Stroke & Neurological Rehabilitation

Getting you back on your feet again
after a disease, disorder or injury

Physical Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention and treatment/intervention.

Physical Rehabilitation is a medical specialty that involves the process of restoring function for a person who has been disabled as a result of a disease, disorder or injury.

Following a period of incapacitation, it is well documented that Physiotherapy treatment plays a crucial role in getting you back on your feet again.

Whether you have had a plaster of paris removed, recently undergone surgery, are post-stroke or following a period of hospital/immobilisation, our Chartered Physiotherapists will be on hand to assist you in returning to your maximum physical potential.

Rehabilitation Gym

Our recently introduced Rehabillitation Gym is designed to assist patients to speed up their recovery and is a welcome addition to the clinic.

Our Chartered Physiotherapists will be using the new Gym to conduct Medical Exercise Therapy, a complete active rehabilitation approach, to assist athletic and ordinary patients with acute or chronic pain. Find out more about Medical Exercise Therapy.

Patients availing of this treatment will attend a one hour supervised rehabilitation session with our Chartered Physiotherapist, whilst still attending their regular Physiotherapy treatments.

Several members of our team; David Gardiner, Kishan Mistri, Eimear Hoare, Louise O’ Rourke, Tomas o’ Connell & Eadaoin Ponisi will supervise your rehabilitation session.

An individual and detailed rehabilitation programme will be devised by our Chartered Physiotherapist in conjunction with the patients regular Physiotherapist.

The Rehab session consists of one hour and costs €50.00. If you book five sessions a discount will be applied. These fees can be submitted to your health insurer along with the treatment fee for re-imbursment.
